Deep inside me there is a desire,
When I look at those boys, A feeling, A Want, A love. I should fancy girls, my best friends sister, the ones that every other boy fancies My body is sick, Its a disease, I hate me, I hate gays. I want to be normal. -- One of three -- I love that I'm gay. It's who I am and there is no changing that and I don't want to. Yet there are too many people out there who do want to change who they are, or feel that they are in the wrong for being gay. For me... its natural. I love boys. [men/guys/males] I got some help from close friends during the hard times when I first came to terms with it. Too many people today don't get the help. They think that they are odd, its un-natural. They are hated and they hate themselves. Too many people would gladly cut that little dotted line to end the pain of just being themselves. I'm gay and proud. Support those who need it. F*ck Homophobia. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I'd like to see a series entitled "I'm glad I'm not 'normal'"

I'm gay, proud, and all the rest. But the idea behind this was that too many people THINK that THEY aren't normal, and thats not right.
Hmm... I'm glad I'm not 'normal' hehe, that sounds kind of interesting.
